Stride & Strategy

From planning systems to planning strides — my journey to Sydney Marathon 2026.

Running is my way to practice resilience, discipline, and planning — values I also bring into my professional life. As a Technical Program Manager and strategic planner, I thrive on orchestrating complex programs, managing multiple teams and communities, and ensuring every detail aligns with a bigger vision. The same mindset applies to my running journey: each stride is carefully planned, each milestone tracked, and every setback treated as an opportunity to adapt. By merging my professional expertise in program management with the discipline of marathon training, I’ve built a hybrid identity that reflects both precision and perseverance.

This dual path allows me to inspire others not only through technical innovation but also through athletic storytelling. Whether it’s developing new features for end-users with clarity or preparing for a half marathon at dawn, I approach challenges with optimism, adaptability, and a deep sense of responsibility. My journey from half marathons in 2025 to the Sydney Marathon 2026 is more than a personal goal; it’s a campaign to show how resilience and planning can bridge professional responsibilities with personal dreams. In both work and running, I aim to create impact, foster community, and demonstrate that growth comes from consistency and authenticity.

Half Marathon Journey 2025

In 2025, I started small with 5K "Time Trial" race in Bandung and began my journey into major races by completing three Half Marathons. The first was the Virgin Half Marathon at Mandiri Jogja Marathon in June 2025, a milestone that tested my discipline and resilience.

The second was Pocari Sweat Run in Bandung, starting at 4 AM in the cool mountain air of July 2025. This race taught me the importance of adaptation — from pacing to fueling — in challenging conditions.

The third was Jakarta Running Festival in October 2025, where I achieved my Half Marathon Personal Best. This PB became proof that consistency and learning from each race bring real progress.

These three Half Marathons laid the foundation for my transition into full marathon training, and gave me the confidence to aim for my first World Marathon Major in Sydney 2026.
